Partner Lessons

• • Two students taught at the same time
  • 45-minute or 60-minute lessons
  • Suitable for ages 4-10
  • Partners need to be the same age and the same level of advancement
  • Great for beginners. Learning is more fun with a partner of the same age, and students learn from each other and from the teacher, providing a more varied learning experience than is possible in private lessons.
  • Partner Lessons will only be scheduled as a suitable partner becomes available for a given student.
  • An acoustic (not electric) piano is required for daily practice. If you have an electric keyboard, you may begin lessons but will be expected to upgrade to an acoustic piano within a few months. I will be happy to help you locate a suitable piano.
  • Transitioning to Private Lessons will become necessary at some point based on each student's level of advancement. The suitability of Partner Lessons will be reassessed regularly.
  • Parents need to be committed to enforcing faithful practice and completion of assignments in order to keep up with the partner.
